1. LOV Restaurant
The latest addition to Montreal’s vegan-health-conscious-with-a-somewhat-gourmet-culinary dining experience in a real gem in the middle of the city. Elegant atmosphere, white walls, lots of plants and amazing food in a very trendy, upmarket, vibrant environment. Vegan Burger Big LOV
is great as is sweet potato Gnocchi di casa with hemp pesto. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday
2. Invitation V
Stylish and innovative vegan food in a beautiful space in central Old Montreal. Great atmosphere and amazingly fast service. Tofu Butter Chicken with curry sauce is well seasoned and texture is just perfect. The chickpea burger and chocolate cake are highly recommended.
3. Cafe Lola Rosa
Great vegetarian restaurant for a younger crowd. This location is small but sufficient. Prepare to be very close to other guests if it’s crowded. Busy and full of McGill students. Good selection of dishes, including vegan and gluten-free choices (including deserts). Drinks menu pretty good too. Mid-range price point. Lively atmosphere. The lasagna is out of this world and the chili is world class. Pineapple cheesecake is also amazing.
4. Aux Vivres
Aux Vivres was the restaurant that debunked myths people held about vegan food by preparing meals that are flavourful, inspired, fresh, innovative and delicious. This is the ultimate plant-based restaurant in Plateau. Very creative menu with tons of options (bowls, salads, wraps with tempeh and coconut bacon) Fresh ingredients and clear nutritional information. Good coffee.
5. Copper Branch
